Well the end of the year is near! It has been a blast. Be on the look out for our invitation to our end of year celebration. We will be dressing up, receiving awards,sharing our research, hearing from our classroom poets, and of course, eating! Almost Christmas
So glad you chose to visit! I hope your weekend was great! The kids have been learning about digital media this week. Hopefully I will have time to get up a few pictures of the kids looking at media that we read. I know many of you young adults may not recognize it, but the kids actually used a real newspaper to learn about what's going on in Dallas!

Welcome Back!
I am so glad you all made it back after Thanksgiving! We only have three weeks and two days until our winter break. The kids have learned so much this year. We have learned how to have academic conversation about text that we have read, and this week we are entering the land of media literacy! Don't know what that is??? Don't worry! It is just a way to label messages that are delivered through things like TV, Computers, Newspapers, Magazines and so on. It should be lots of fun and hopefully before Christmas is here we will have our own videos or commercials to upload here at my classroom blog! Looking forward to great learning!
